My journey in Talent Acquisition began at a global recruitment agency, Michael Page, where I honed my skills in identifying top-tier talent across diverse sectors. With a focus on fostering growth and cultural alignment, I've partnered with enterprises, mid-market companies, and start-ups to strategically build high-performing teams that drive organizational success.

Transitioning to Thriver, a pioneering SaaS start-up based in Toronto, I embraced the opportunity to lead talent acquisition and establish an HR function from the ground up. Collaborating with an exceptional team, we achieved significant milestones, propelling the company's growth from 56 to 220 employees within a mere three years. Our accomplishments extended globally, with the successful launch of 13 offices and the securing of a Series B round of funding, marking significant milestones for the company's growth.

As my journey evolved, so did my perspective and with a decade of industry experience, I embarked on a mission to redefine talent acquisition standards. Drawing from a rich background spanning both in-house and agency roles, I possess a deep understanding of cultural dynamics, personalized service, founder’s passion, and the importance of long-term relationships.

With humble beginnings in Croatia, I ventured to Toronto in 2013 with only two duffle bags and a profound ambition. Starting my recruitment career at Michael Page and Shopify,

I’ve developed a knack for identifying remarkable talent. Over the last decade,

I’ve had the opportunity to work with 50+ clients spanning four continents identifying and connecting them to key hires across various verticals in marketing, technology, product and sales.

I've had the privilege to work with Founders, C-level executives, and Boards to build leadership teams for trailblazing companies like Shopify, FreshBooks, HelloFresh, and many more.

In my spare time, I enjoy investing in early-stage Toronto start-ups, exploring new countries, playing chess and basketball.
